The Community Support Frameworks (CSF's) are programming documents approved by the European Commission once the plans for development presented by the Member States for each objective priority have been analysed. These documents describe the development strategy and the priorities for actions to be jointly-financed with Community resources, their specific objectives, the participation of the structural Funds and other financial resources to be applied. The Community Support Framework for the Spanish regions in Objective no. 1 is the largest and most wide-ranging financial instrument of structural assistance for the period 2000-2006.
